Oversee and review multistate corporate and partnership income/franchise tax filings to ensure accurate and timely delivery of SALT compliance services. Manage the delivery of state and local tax consulting services, including nexus analyses, state tax planning, apportionment studies, voluntary disclosure agreements, and audit defense. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for complex state tax planning and consulting services. Collaborate with firm leadership to pursue and secure new state and local tax opportunities. Mentor and develop a team of senior associates, associates, and interns, fostering professional growth and technical expertise within the SALT discipline. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA, JD, or equivalent certification preferred. 4+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with a focus on state & local tax. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving state tax issues. Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and manage multiple priorities effectively.
