As an International Tax Director in our Income Tax Advisory group, you lead the Income Tax Advisory team with strategic oversight, technical expertise, and client-centric focus. You are crucial in shaping client engagement, driving business growth, and mentoring future leaders.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance on complex income and international tax matters, including U.S. and global tax compliance, ASC 740 income tax accounting, and income tax credits.
Oversee and review international tax compliance deliverables, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, GILTI, FDII, and foreign tax credit calculations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Lead the delivery of international tax consulting services, including cross-border planning, global restructuring, treaty analysis, tax-efficient supply chain structuring, and other multinational tax planning initiatives.
Advise clients on the impact of global tax legislation, including U.S. outbound and inbound rules, OECD Pillar Two developments, BEPS initiatives, and evolving jurisdictional requirements.
Manage multiple complex projects concurrently, ensuring high‑quality results and exceptional client service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and multinational clients, serving as a trusted advisor on tax strategy, planning, and global tax risk mitigation.
Collaborate with firm leadership to design and execute strategic initiatives, pursue new international tax opportunities, and expand market presence.
Implement innovative solutions to enhance practice efficiency, service delivery, and technical capabilities across the tax function.
Mentor and develop team members at all levels—associates through future leaders—fostering technical expertise, collaboration, and a culture of continuous learning.
Promote knowledge sharing and innovation across the broader tax practice.

Essential traits:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA, JD, LLM in Taxation, or equivalent advanced credential required or strongly preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in federal and international tax compliance and consulting, including experience with ASC 740.
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. and international tax provisions, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, BEPS, U.S. inbound rules, and other global tax frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to lead multinational client engagements, manage global workflows across jurisdictions, and deliver high‑quality technical work.
Strategic thinker with strong judgment, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to navigate complex tax scenarios.
Proven success in building and fostering strong client relationships, delivering exceptional client service, and supporting long‑term advisory partnerships.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams.
