Kroll is seeking a Director of Technology Operations to lead and mature the operational framework that powers our global Technology organization. This senior leader will drive strategic alignment, strengthen governance, streamline operational processes, and oversee key enterprise programs that enable Technology to deliver with clarity, transparency, and discipline.

This role is ideal for a forward-thinking leader who thrives in complex environments, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and brings a strong track record of Technology operations, planning, and program management.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy, Planning & Enablement

• Lead the development and ongoing refinement of the enterprise Technology strategy.

• Run structured operating processes to monitor strategy execution and align with business priorities.

• Own and optimize strategic planning and portfolio management tools (e.g., OnePlan).

• Partner with Finance and the COO/GPMO to support prioritization of Technology investments.

• Deliver executive-level dashboards, reporting, and insights that inform decision-making.

• Support cross-functional Technology transformation programs.

Technology Operations & Governance

• Own and evolve the Technology operating model and core operational processes.

• Lead enterprise planning, QBRs, governance cadence, and metrics management.

• Develop and maintain Technology KPIs, scorecards, and operational tracking.

• Align Technology operations with organizational processes including job architecture, people processes, and training.

Enterprise Program & Portfolio Management

• Oversee major enterprise initiatives and ensure consistent execution across the project portfolio.

• Establish and manage project governance, reporting standards, prioritization frameworks, and steering committees.

• Guide project managers and cross-functional teams with best practices, tools, and methodologies.

• Escalate and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain program momentum.

People Processes & Organizational Alignment

• Partner with the People Team on Technology job architecture, training, talent planning, and organizational design.

• Ensure Technology components of organizational changes (M&A, restructuring, hierarchy changes) are well-supported.

• Support change management efforts in partnership with Operational Excellence, Business Change Management, and the People Team.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as the interface between Technology, COO, Finance, GPMO, the People Team, and Business Unit leadership.

• Promote alignment across strategic, operational, and program-delivery functions.

• Translate complex Technology concepts into clear narratives for stakeholders.

• Support operational excellence, transparency, and strategic discipline across the enterprise.

Qualifications – Required

• Experience leading Technology strategy, Technology operations, or enterprise program management.

• Demonstrated success driving governance, planning, and transformation initiatives.

• Strong portfolio and program management expertise with proven execution discipline.

• Skilled in executive reporting, dashboarding, QBR leadership, and operational processes.

• Comfortable operating in highly matrixed environments with ambiguity.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications – Preferred

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid SDLC methodologies.

• Background in organizational design, people processes, or enterprise transformation.
