Serve as a communications partner across IFS functions, supporting functional priorities and initiatives that affect colleagues or the business. Develop audience-specific plans and materials that translate technical, policy or process detail into clear messages for employees, managers and Service Line leaders. Coordinate routine and strategic updates with the integrated Communications calendar, identifying dependencies, opportunities to connect messages and risks of information overload. Work across the Internal Communications team and CEO office to prioritize requests where messages or timing overlap.
Manage communications for assigned change initiatives, explaining the case for change, milestones, decisions, colleague impacts and required actions. Build plans covering stakeholder mapping, audience readiness, sequencing, channels, leader materials, dependencies and approvals. Partner with program and functional owners to verify facts, anticipate concerns and prepare progress updates, FAQs, presentations and manager guidance; escalate material risks.
Draft and edit leadership messages, emails, intranet articles, FAQs, talking points, presentations, town hall content and manager toolkits to a high editorial standard. Recommend channels, formats and cadence appropriate to audience needs and the sensitivity of each message. Equip sponsors and managers to explain changes consistently and respond to likely questions, gathering feedback from their teams. Apply sound judgment and discretion to confidential or sensitive matters, following established review and approval processes.
Act as a champion for AI and automation optimization in the Communications function. Use approved AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, first drafts, editing, content variants, FAQs and leader materials, maintaining human ownership of facts, tone and final approvals. Apply AI to help segment audiences, adapt content for channels and accessibility needs, and identify themes in feedback and channel data. Design reusable prompts, projects, templates and workflow improvements that reduce repetitive work and give communications partners more time for strategic counsel. Evaluate output for accuracy, bias, confidentiality and brand fit; follow Kroll’s data-handling and AI requirements.
Proactively collaborate to maintain an integrated view of assigned Internal Communications projects, tracking deadlines, dependencies, decisions and stakeholder commitments. Set practical measures across reach, understanding, engagement and adoption where relevant; combine channel data with qualitative feedback. Use insights to improve message sequencing, channels and content, and report what changed as a result. Share templates, lessons learned and communications expertise with colleagues to improve quality and efficiency across the team.
