Kroll is the leading independent provider of risk and financial advisory solutions. Across valuation, investigations, cyber, restructuring, regulatory compliance, and corporate finance, we deliver trusted expertise to clients navigating complex, high-stakes decisions.

AI represents a structural shift in how professional services firms operate. At Kroll, AI Transformation is focused on systematically embedding AI into our core workflows to enhance judgment, increase throughput, improve quality, and unlock new service capabilities—while preserving the rigor and independence that define our brand.

The AI Transformation team partners directly with business leaders across Kroll to redesign how work gets done. We operate at the intersection of domain expertise, workflow architecture, data, and AI enablement.

Our mandate spans:

  • Re-architecting core service delivery workflows across practices

  • Embedding automation, generative AI, and advanced analytics into daily operations

  • Reducing cycle times and improving margin through intelligent process redesign

  • Standardizing data capture, knowledge reuse, and quality controls

  • Building AI-enabled internal tools and client-facing capabilities

  • Establishing governance, risk controls, and model oversight frameworks

  • Driving department-wide adoption and change management

We focus on durable operating leverage—not pilots. Every initiative must tie to measurable impact on quality, productivity, risk mitigation, or revenue growth.

As a Director in the AI Transformation team, you will lead high-impact initiatives that modernize and optimize Kroll’s core workflows. You will serve as the senior delivery leader responsible for structuring multi-practice programs, aligning executive stakeholders, and ensuring tangible operational and financial outcomes.

This role requires deep operational transformation experience, disciplined program leadership, and the ability to translate AI capability into concrete workflow evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advisory Workflow Transformation

  • Lead end-to-end AI-enabled workflow redesign across Kroll practices (e.g., valuation, investigations, restructuring, compliance, cyber)

  • Map current-state processes and identify structural inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and manual dependencies

  • Redesign target-state operating models that embed AI at critical decision and production nodes

  • Ensure transformations preserve regulatory rigor, defensibility, and auditability

2. AI Use Case Prioritization & Value Realization

  • Identify and prioritize AI use cases tied to:

    • Margin expansion and productivity improvement

    • Cycle time reduction

    • Quality and consistency enhancement

    • Risk mitigation

    • Revenue enablement

  • Quantify impact through structured business cases and value tracking frameworks

  • Translate technical capabilities (automation, predictive analytics, generative AI, knowledge systems) into operational outcomes

3. Program Governance & Execution

  • Own scope, workplan, and executive-level reporting for multi-workstream transformation programs

  • Establish KPIs tied to measurable workflow impact

  • Manage cross-functional teams spanning domain experts, data scientists, engineers, and change leaders

  • Oversee vendor relationships and implementation partners where required

  • Ensure disciplined risk management, model governance, and compliance alignment

4. Organizational Enablement & Change

  • Partner with practice leadership to drive adoption of redesigned workflows

  • Define role evolution and capability requirements as AI becomes embedded

  • Develop training frameworks and internal communication strategies

  • Institutionalize best practices into repeatable transformation playbooks

5. Practice Development

  • Contribute to enterprise AI strategy refinement

  • Develop reusable transformation methodologies, templates, and toolkits

  • Mentor junior team members and build internal AI transformation capability

  • Support executive presentations and board-level updates as required

Qualifications:

Required Experience

  • 8–12+ years in strategy consulting, operational transformation, or enterprise change roles

  • Demonstrated leadership of complex, multi-workstream transformation programs

  • Strong PMO and governance experience in regulated or high-stakes environments

  • Track record of delivering measurable productivity, margin, or operating model improvements

  • Experience driving change within professional services, financial services, or advisory organizations preferred

AI & Technology Fluency

  • Working understanding of AI applications in professional services environments:

    • Generative AI for knowledge work

    • Intelligent document processing

    • Workflow automation

    • Predictive analytics

  • Ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders credibly

  • Experience operationalizing AI beyond pilots into scaled deployment

Preferred Background

  • Experience at a top-tier consulting firm or internal transformation office

  • Deep process redesign and operating model experience

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

What Success Looks Like

  • Core Kroll workflows materially redesigned and instrumented with AI

  • Measurable improvements in throughput, quality, and margin

  • Standardized governance and model oversight embedded in operations

  • Sustained adoption across practices—not isolated innovation pockets

  • A repeatable AI-enabled operating model that differentiates Kroll in the market
