This role focuses on testing Oracle Fusion HCM with an emphasis on integrations, high-quality test data, clear test artefacts, and actionable defect reporting. You will work with Azure DevOps and standard productivity tools to provide transparent progress updates and audit-ready evidence.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Have experience in testing HCM integrations with both internal applications and external 3rd party apps via OCI & OIC.
Have experience with creating and amending test data in Oracle Fusion for full integration extracts and delta extracts.
Able to understand processes and requirements to then write test cases and test scripts.
Produce accurate estimates for those test cases and test scripts.
Executing tests, and report on progress as required.
Raise defects with relevant information for effective debugging and root cause analysis.
Display a good understanding of testing best practice and the development lifecycle with good experience of applying this knowledge in a testing capacity.
- Be competent in the use of the technical toolset (Azure DevOps).
- Proficient use of MS Word and Excel.
Requirements:
3-6+ years of QA/testing experience with Oracle Fusion HCM across at least two modules (e.g., Core HR, ORC, Talent/Performance, Absence, Benefits).
Able to understand processes and requirements to then write test cases and test scripts.
Good understanding of integration tools and patterns, including REST/SOAP and file‑based interfaces; hands‑on with HDL and HCM Extracts.
Display a good understanding of testing best practice and the development lifecycle, with proven application in a testing capacity.
Strong SQL skills for test‑data construction and reconciliation.
Be competent with Azure DevOps (or similar ALM) for work tracking and traceability.
Proficient use of MS Word and Excel for scripts/evidence packs and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to prioritise and execute in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment.
