As a Senior Business Analyst, you will partner closely with HR business users and Technology to translate needs into clear, actionable solutions across Oracle Cloud HCM. You will document AS‑IS procedures and define TO‑BE processes, perform gap analyses, and provide options, risks, and impacts across adjacent processes and systems. Acting as the bridge between the People/HR team and Technology/IT, you will prepare end‑user Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and coordinate with change communications to ensure every step is documented and adopted effectively.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Requirements & process design
Engage business stakeholders to identify, assess, and document business requirements; prioritize and advise on options, risks, and dependencies.
Lead AS‑IS capture and define TO‑BE processes; run workshops and walkthroughs; maintain traceability from needs → specifications → test cases → acceptance.
Prepare functional specifications for development and ensure non‑functional considerations (data, controls, UX, supportability) are covered.
Delivery & collaboration
Work with Technical Analysts and the development team to ensure clear understanding of specifications and acceptance criteria.
Act as a functional SME for new initiatives and projects; support scope shaping with project managers and IT leadership to optimize benefits and reduce risk.
Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders in Accounts Payable and Human Resources; drive business‑process issue resolution.
Change, enablement & documentation
Produce Quick Reference Guides (QRGs)/User Guides and collaborate with change communications to land new ways of working.
Contribute to UAT planning (scenarios aligned to requirements) and ensure sign‑off evidence is complete and audit‑ready.
Quality & governance
Maintain high‑quality documentation (process maps, specifications, RACI, risks/issues/decisions).
Champion continuous improvement across data quality, controls, and KPI reporting for HCM processes.
Must‑have skills
Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills; confident with meeting/workshop facilitation.
Strong knowledge of HR processes (e.g., Hire‑to‑Retire, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits).
5 –10 years’ experience in documenting business processes (for Senior BA, 5+ years preferred).
Proficient knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM from a business/process perspective.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong analytical skills: able to interpret complex data and produce actionable insights.
Understanding of business processes and how they align to technology solutions.
Familiarity with Oracle E‑Business Suite or Oracle Cloud applications.
Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL or Excel.
Exposure to project management methodologies and tools
