Kroll’s Expert Services practice provides forensic accounting, valuation, and other financial and investigative services to attorneys and companies involved in litigation, among other forms of disputes and investigations.  Our professionals are trained to provide expert witness testimony in our firm’s areas of expertise.  We are sought out by the top law firms and companies in the world and have been recognized by many publications and industry sources for our exceptional client service and work product.  Kroll’s Expert Services practice is world renowned for the high quality of its work.   

As an Intern in the Expert Services practice, you will work on engagements related to forensic accounting matters, investigative services, and dispute consulting. Apply now to join One team, One Kroll.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist engagement teams in creating forensic accounting analyses, financial models, business valuations, and other analyses as dictated by the needs of the client or legal counsel.
  • Assist engagement teams in providing guidance to attorneys on key accounting, financial, and business issues.
  • Assist engagement teams in the development and evaluation of damages claims and other financial calculations.
  • Organize and analyze large data sets to provide meaningful conclusions.
  • Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, client site visits, and independent research.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute directly to the development of work product, expert reports, proposals, presentations, and publications communicated to current and prospective clients.
  • Quality assurance for expert reports and other work product

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance), or MBA from an accredited college or university
  • Must be of Junior standing. This position is for those still enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above
  • CPA-eligible candidate preferred
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
  • Strong Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to manage time and workflow & focus on quality work
  • Energetic and passionate attitude towards our work and towards working with a team
