We are looking for a professional, capable and motivated Administrative Assistant to provide proactive support.  We are looking for someone who enjoys being busy, has plenty of initiative, is confident, high energy and can 'hit the ground running.’

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inventory, facilities, IT & equipment support, vendor management;
  • Coordinate business schedule and arrange international travel and accommodation for BVI staff and visiting colleagues;
  • Managing calendars, mailing, typing, filing, answering phones, greeting visitors, preparing reports and presentations;
  • Database management, assist in organising events,
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and courier;
  • Printing and binding of documents, photocopying, and scanning;
  • Payables processing
  • Competent with Microsoft Office 365
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience of working with senior management and taking responsibility of projects
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage time and projects effectively and a high ability to multi-task
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Experience in similar field
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Fast thinking, proactive and confident working unsupervised using own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise heavy workloads and remain calm under pressure

The current salary range for this position is $20.00-$40.00 hourly.
