RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Infrastructure Architect / Senior Infrastructure Engineer who will primarily work closely with the Head of Infrastructure on projects but will also participate in BAU support where required, provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues on matters in which you may be a subject expert and to take part in the on-call rota. Out of hours work will be required to complete some projects or system updates, these responsibilities are shared within the team.
Suitable candidates should show the following day to day skills:
- Project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills to prioritise workloads
- Ability to write Technical documentation and how to guides to a high standard
- Understanding of ITIL and ideally experience of ITIL in end user IT operational environments, especially an understanding of change management best practice
REQUIREMENTS:
Suitable candidates should show the following technical skills, although experience in the specific vendors is advantageous, experience in the general technologies will be considered.
- Microsoft Windows Server (AD, DNS, File server etc...)
- Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, Azure AD etc)
- Email / Spam filter Architecture knowledge
- Mobile Device Management (MS Intune)
- Virtualisation skills (VMware, Hyper-V)

- Backup and DR Technologies (Veeam)

- Firewall / NGFW Skills (FortiGate)
- Cloud (AWS and Azure)
- Linux (RedHat / Centos / Amazon Linux)
- Scripting / Programming (PowerShell, Python, Bash etc)
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Cisco CCNP / CCIE
- MCSE: Server Infrastructure / Private Cloud
