RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for bright, motivated, and inquisitive minds to join our Kroll Cyber Team as a Technical Sales Manager, supporting the US based Proactive Services team.  This practice area includes services focused on helping clients improve overall cyber security maturity and assistance when recovering from an incident. The candidate will focus on delivering and managing outstanding customer experiences with our engagement managers, sales, and marketing teams from scoping call to client follow up post engagement. This role is fully remote and reports to the Managing Director of the US Proactive Services team.

  • Assist clients with questions regarding their cyber security needs and align them with the appropriate Kroll service such as Risk Assessments, Penetration Testing, and Advisory Solutions.
  • Collaborate with the broader Cyber Risk team members, including sales, marketing, engagement managers, and security analysts to provide standard and ad-hoc solutions to meet client needs, and to provide feedback and support.
  • Serve as the point of contact for existing and potential clients to scope work, generate contracts and manage long term client relationships.
  • Maintain technical knowledge in the underlying cyber security tools, processes, and technologies required to deliver the services.
  • Develop and communicate written and verbal contracts and Statements of Work to clients.
  • Consistently demonstrate the value of Kroll Proactive services.
  • Work with clients to continually improve their security posture, ideally leveraging other Kroll services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years’ working in a customer facing role, ideally in Information Security or consulting firm with a record of delivering results.
  • Strong knowledge of core cyber security principles and their application within commercial environments – Example – understand the principle of least privilege.
  • Must have experience building and managing long term client relationships.
  • Ability to respond rapidly, multi-task, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers, team members, and engagement managers.
  • Must be detail and process oriented, requiring demonstrated excellence in time management project management and prioritization.
  • Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to think independently, critically, and exercise good business judgement and maintain professional demeanor in all client and colleague interactions.
  • Must be enthusiastic, flexible, and collaborative.
  • Must have outstanding communication, client relationship management, and problem resolution skills, with the ability to effectively advise leadership.
  • Understanding of common threat actor techniques, malware behavior and persistence mechanisms.
