We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager I (SEO/SEM) to join our Global Marketing team. The position will be in our Toronto office (with the ability to work from home during the ongoing pandemic). The selected candidate will lead our Global SEO/SEM team and will be responsible for planning, strategizing and executing firmwide SEO/SEM initiatives. The prospective candidate should have 6+ years’ experience in search engine optimization, paid search and paid social campaigns, preferably having worked for professional or financial services companies. The role will report into Vice President, Digital Marketing, based in Toronto.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Plan, develop and implement a strategic roadmap for all SEO and SEM campaigns. This includes collaborating with the Website team to maximize organic and paid traffic across all web domains.
  • Manage and execute paid search and paid social campaigns with complete responsibility of setting up, running and optimizing campaigns across various tools like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.
  • Continuously provide recommendations to business stakeholders and marketers to optimize the campaign strategy, bidding strategy, landing page optimization and more
  • Robustly track, report and analyze campaign analytics across all channels, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc., and be able to communicate findings to all levels of stakeholders
  • Formulate robust keyword strategy plans to meet SEO and SEM KPIs and work with business unit marketers and corporate marketing teams to optimize content strategy around them
  • Audit corporate websites to identify SEO gaps and areas of improvement and develop processes to fix gaps and issues
  • Work with the Analytics team to generate monthly reports on campaign performance, website organic growth and keyword performance and present them to key stakeholders
  • Manage a team of SEO and SEM experts and mentor them to grow their marketing and technical skills and career at the company
  • Stay abreast of latest search marketing and key industry trends and share findings and resources with the team to grow digital marketing knowledge and expertise within the company
  • Manage SEO and SEM projects in the company’s project management tool and ensure proper delivery and timely execution of organic and paid projects

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S./MBA in marketing or communications with concentration in business or finance
  • 6+ years of experience in SEO
  • 6+ years of experience in paid search and paid social
  • 3+ years of experience in managing teams
  • Ability to work on SEO and SEM tools like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Brightedge, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
  • Strong technical, communication and analytical skills with the ability to learn the company’s business
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage and train team members
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
  • Ability to excel with little day-to-day oversight and under strict deadlines
