The Human Capital Business Partner will be the Human Capital generalist to management for several of our Business Units.


This position will partner with executives in the Region to foster our performance-based culture. The Business Partner will be involved in all Human Capital initiatives including performance management, new hire orientation, the annual review and compensation process, retention strategies, rewards and recognition programs, employee relations and various other human resources issues. The Business Partner will also act as a go to person for staff in the regional offices with respect to the aforementioned issues

  • Interprets Human Capital and Company policies and ensures adherence to them.
  • Oversee Mid-Year and Year-End Performance Management Program for cities within Business Partners’ area of responsibility
  • Advise leaders as to base pay and incentive compensation adjustments and reviews.
  • Assists in providing training and development programs related to Human Capital programs such as the Performance Management Program.
  • Support of Human Capital Initiatives including retention strategies and mentoring.
  • Coach senior management to become more effective leaders.
    Responsible for orienting individual employees and conducting exit interviews.
  • Responds to and properly handles employee relations matters consistent with company policy guidelines. 
  • Assist with various Human Capital projects as assigned. 


  • Organize new hire contract, paperwork, benefits and schedule medical exams
  • Liaise with IT for necessary equipment
  • Liaise with finance for all necessary documentation
  • Be the new hire’s main point of contact for any doubts until their start date
  • Make all requests for local benefits
  • Prepare the schedule of required trainings
  • Work with the office manager to make sure everything is ready on the first day
  • Introduce D&P systems, policies and procedures, such as time entry, &You, performance appraisal, overtime policy, mandatory training, Percipio, etc
  • Present D&P culture and values
  • Introduce the new hire to the team and to the office
  • Archive all documents and send to corporate HR

General Business:

  • Deal with benefits vendors (medical and dental assistance, life insurance, meal card and transportation card)
  • Attend local teams with their requests and questions
  • Control overtime schedules e required vacation
  • Observe and implement local salaries increases defined by labor unions
  • Start and follow-up on PIP procedures
  • Request and follow up on system updates needed after promotions
  • Be the local contact for corporate HR and take care of all required communication
  • Participate of local performance appraisal processes and support managers with the program
  • Support the staff with certifications and exams needed (PPRA, PCMSO, NR17, NR 5 CIPA, etc)
  • Support with payroll, when necessary
  • Identify personal and professional developing needed and provide solutions

Termination processes:

  • Assist with the implementation of and oversee Performance Improvement Plans
  • Receive all equipment and badges back and do the check list to send to corporate HR
  • Take care of all documents to be signed and processes to be done
  • Make the exiting interview


  • 7 years progressive human resources/human capital experience including employee relations.
  • Must possess strong communication (oral and written) and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a confidential environment essential.
  • Excellent organization skills - ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimum direction.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and database skills.
  • Detailed understanding of human resource laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze compensation data.
  • Proficient in speaking and writing in English, Spanish and Portuguese
  • Employment law experience across all LATAM countries
