As a copy editor in the Offensive Security team, you’ll be reporting to the manager of Quality Assurance. You’ll be relied on to review the technical reports that are prepared by our security analysts. The role is a crucial step in the process of guaranteeing high-quality work for our clients. You’ll work with a large team of application-security experts, support roles, and directors.

What you’ll do
- Edit technical reports to ensure that they are written clearly, correctly, and consistently.
- Work independently and with other members of the Quality Assurance team.
- Follow an in-house style guide.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A Bachelor of Arts in English, Communications, Journalism, or something similar.
- Post-secondary education in copy editing and/or 2+ years of experience with copy editing.
- Excellent English-language reading comprehension, writing, and editing skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Skills in Microsoft Word and similar edit-tracking software and the ability to adapt to new programs.
- The ability to meet deadlines with quick turnaround times, take initiative, and collaborate with a global team.
- An enthusiasm for learning, both about language and about technology
