Vice President, Transfer Pricing

Fulfilling complex transfer pricing requirements can be a daunting task for any multinational organization. As experts in transfer pricing, Kroll provides an independent and uncompromised perspective on all aspects including compliance, planning, controversy and implementation.

We currently seek a Vice President to join our German team in Frankfurt or Munich who can participate in and supervise multiple transfer pricing engagements, prepare transfer pricing valuations, prepare documentation studies, defend transfer pricing in audits, and develop robust transfer pricing solutions allied to relevant tax planning approaches.

  • Acting as the interface between the team leaders and the analyst team, understanding the requirement and seeing the projects through, consulting with the team leaders where required
  • Take responsibility for projects and be key contact for interesting clients
  • Determining appropriate methodologies and built complex TP valuation models
  • Determining appropriate methodologies and building and reviewing transfer pricing models
  • Developing technical solutions to assist with transfer pricing audits and litigation
  • Mentoring and training staff
  • Contributing to business development
  • Participate in development of the EMEA TP practice and integration into the wider Kroll service offerings
  • Developing transfer pricing solutions for complex transactions, business models and restructuring events 


  • Good or very good Masters or PhD degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
  • Ample transfer pricing or relevant economics experience gained in a consulting environment, such as within one of the Big 4 accounting firms, an economics consultancy or in-house economist role (our Vice President grade has a wide level of experience, thus candidates with different levels of experience are also welcome to apply)   
  • Profound experience with transfer pricing valuations is considered an asset, but nor required
  • Demonstrated superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and client relationships skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Suitability and enthusiasm for progression to a senior role
  • Native/fluent German speaker
  • Fluent in English
