Salesforce is one of the critical components of our firm’s marketing and commercial operations. Salesforce data team members play an essential role in maintaining a high level of data quality and standards. This role interacts directly with Kroll colleagues around the world with respect to Salesforce data management, processes, queries and issue resolution by executing data management tasks with precision and speed. The position requires time sensitive evaluation of new data being entered directly in Salesforce and integrated into Salesforce by other marketing and business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and deliver Salesforce data projects by collaborating with marketing and business users as per predefined quality standards and timelines
  • Collaborate with others on the data team to schedule and execute institutional Salesforce data operations, to meet defined benchmarks/KPIs
  • Execute routine and on demand data analytics and reporting leveraging other content in the marketing eco-system
  • Liaise with integrated marketing team members for smooth integration and data flow between marketing data platforms. Identify gaps and work with teams to resolve any issues on apriority basis
  • Support marketing users in list building activities using Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Guide and train internal team members on Salesforce data processes and related best practices
  • Explore best practices and tools to continuously improve existing data processes and data for efficient marketing operations
  • Support lead management and demand generation activities using marketing data
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to support business development activities through strategic data enrichment and standardization processes
  • Establish and develop process documents and workflows, ensure proper quality frameworks are in place on all aspects of Salesforce data and analytics operations

Position Knowledge / Skills and Abilities Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ Salesforce data operations experience (financial services or professional services domains preferred) including three years of team lead experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce data processes with prior experience in data management tools such as Demand Tools, Salesforce Data Loader, SOQL queries  
  • Proficiency in standard/complex Salesforce and excel reporting including custom reports and dashboards.  General knowledge of Salesforce technical configuration
  • Superior oral and written communication skills blended with excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, proven project management experience and working knowledge of service delivery model
  • Good understanding digital marketing terms and concepts
  • BI Tools, Eloqua/email marketing operations experience ideal but not required
