The Senior Financial Reporting Specialist role will support all aspects of the FP&A process.  This will include monthly close activities, Quarterly Outlook forecasting, and ad hoc analysis. Involvement in other aspects of the broader business and the need to further develop business analytics may be required at times.  Additional responsibilities will be as follows:


  • Support the monthly close and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Conduct variance analysis and communicate financial results vs plan
  • Leverage Business Objects and Infor Business Intelligence tools to analyze business trends and produce business analytics / reports as needed
  • Reporting and analysis including periodic reporting, periodic forecast analysis and deck preparation
  • Supporting strategic plan and budget development, including deck analysis and deck preparation
  • Provide ad-hoc projects and analysis as requested
  • Work with cross-functional teams in managing P&L expectations
  • Work collaboratively across multiple finance teams (Systems and Accounting) to analyze period performance and influence forecast
  • Assist in and Drive special projects as needed


  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting
  • 2 years of experience in financial or business analyst role
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Ability to function well on a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn new software applications
  • Ability to work independently when necessary
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deal with various of levels of financial and operating personnel on a global scale
  • Ability to investigate and solve problems
  • Ability to analyze financial performance and assess valid explanations for variances
  • Ability to create work plan and output requirements under pressure
