As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in both supporting and leading complex restructuring and financial advisory engagements. Working closely with case managers and senior staff, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact assignments across a variety of industries. You will also be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational procedures, ensuring that deadlines are consistently met and that engagements run smoothly.

This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, with exposure to senior decision-makers and high-profile cases. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Operational Execution: Oversee day-to-day operations across engagements, ensuring deadlines are met while identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing Kroll with professionalism and integrity in all communications and interactions.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with senior staff and management, contributing to high-level decision-making and the development of tailored advisory strategies that balance analytical rigor with commercial insight.
  • Financial Analysis & Investigations: Conduct detailed financial reviews and investigations across a range of industries, analyzing company assets to maximize creditor returns and supporting the preparation of investigative and advisory reports.
  • Insolvency & Restructuring: Manage formal insolvency procedures including CVAs, CVLs, MVLs, Administrations, LPAs, and Administrative Receiverships. Prepare statutory documentation, correspondence, and bank reports for restructuring cases such as Administrations, Liquidations, and Bankruptcies.
  • Transaction Support: Draft complex information memoranda and liaise with interested parties in relation to business and asset sales, ensuring clear and accurate communication throughout the transaction process.
  • Client-Site Engagement: Attend client premises as needed, engaging with employees, agents, and legal teams to gather information and support case delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Take ownership of financial analysis and reporting, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards and align with Kroll’s policies, risk management protocols, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Strong academic credentials with a 2:1 or equivalent in a relevant degree discipline.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, advisory, or restructuring, with a proven ability to navigate complex challenges across various industries.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Highly analytical mindset with advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with confidence in presenting insights and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build, manage, and develop strong professional relationships, contributing to inclusive and collaborative team environments.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Quick to adapt and learn new industries or technical areas.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to leverage these tools for analysis and presentation.
  • Professionalism & Integrity: Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality results with integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Continuous Development: Enthusiastic about ongoing learning and professional growth, with a proactive approach to personal and team development.
