Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and elicit requirements
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage projects scope and timelines
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies product backlog refinement, preplanning, planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives
  • Be the point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requirements
  • Accountable for managing the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in Agile methodology.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove hindrances that arise within the teams in each sprint
  • Help teams to implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Configure and maintain an agile project management tools (Azure Devops, JIRA, ServiceNow)
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile standards and best practices, e., Lean, Kanban, Scrum, DevOps etc.
  • Challenge and improve the operation of the team, improving their performance and capabilities.
  • Assist and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog
  • Support the agile transformation together with Agile Working Group
  • Support the team to improve their technical work by reviewing results and establish lessons learned as well as track the improvement
  • Arrange daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation process

Skills to Succeed:

  • University degree and at least 3-7 years of experience as a Scrum master in a global organization
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) is required
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.) is added advantage
  • Ability to track and remove impediments.
  • Should be expert in estimation and planning. Should know how to create useful, reliable, and practical plans for software development projects.
  • Ability to forecast the deliverables possible in an iteration, based on evidence and reliable sources.
  • Recognize and rectify team issues - especially related to capacity and velocity within and across sprints.
  • Experience with process improvement & Inventory control
  • Proven experience in effective planning & stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and client facing communication skills
