Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for payroll management/ payment/ reporting in system (Lawson) and annual salary tax filing of APAC offices
  • Handle all payroll related statutory filings e.g. IR56G, IR56A and IR56B, staff quarter, and retirement benefit contributions (e.g. MPF, CPF)
  • Ensure timely payroll and statutory payment, and record accurately in system
  • Updates employee records in payroll system
  • Participate in month end closing of APAC offices specific to payroll and related benefits, including journal entries posting and accounts reconciliation
  • Prepare payroll-related analysis reports for management review
  • Ensure compliance with company’s policies and any statutory requirements on payroll-related matters
  • Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding payroll and retirement contributions (e.g. MPF)
  • Responsible for audit on payroll and related matters
  • Lead on payroll-related initiatives for APAC offices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in business related discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Experience in handling payroll
  • Able to keep information confidential
  • Able to work independently and multitasks
  • Teamwork spirit
  • Willing to learn
  • Proven problem-solving skills when faced with unique and new challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
  • Good command of Chinese and English
