Responsibilities:

 

The Managing Director will work as part of the Data Insights and Forensics practice and will be focused on developing and expanding our data led investigations and litigation service offering.  This role focuses on expanding Kroll’s presence in the discovery and forensic analytics space with key buyers of these services including law firms and corporates. This person will also have the ability to lead and assist teams in collaborative problem solving and execution. It also requires the individual to assist leadership to grow existing and build new client relationships and to bring their technical and commercial experience to shape the future of our practice. A fundamental understanding of structured and unstructured data analysis, and the correlation between the two is paramount. 

 

Key responsibilities will include the following:

 

  • US/Americas regional focus on business development, client management, and relationship expansion
  • Delivery on Discovery related projects in investigations and litigation
  • Assist with recruiting and managing delivery staff
  • Assess and help enhance broader Kroll innovation delivery capability
  • Alignment and tactical integration with overall Global Data Insight, Risk, and Analytics strategy
  • Continue to develop through thought leadership, market facing activity, personal, Kroll and Data Insight brand
  • Work collaboratively with Data Insights and Forensics MDs and leadership to make the most of market outreach efforts and increase market share.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Business/client development and financial management skills and experience are required
  • At least 15 years of work experience with solid career progression, including at least 7 years in one or more of Legal, and/or Consulting, (experience in a professional service organization, a plus), or Government.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required. 
  • Proven leadership ability
  • “Hands-on” professional with ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Contacts and strong reputation in private sector 
  • Significant experience in complex, defensible data discovery, collection, ingestion, and analysis. 
  • Advisory mindset to scoping, drafting, and assisting in delivering client proposals in a manner that clearly explains our practice, cost benefit, and the benefits of data and technology forward approaches
