Through a combination of subject matter expertise, global research capabilities and flexible technology tools, Kroll helps clients take a risk-based approach toward meeting obligations or remediating failures regarding cybersecurity, privacy program maturity and related regulatory mandates. Our engagements include Virtual CISO, transactional due-diligence, framework assessments, expert testimony, privacy program building and a myriad of other advisory efforts.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

We are looking for bright, inquisitive minds who are experienced in and passionate about cybersecurity consulting and advisory services. Our Advisory team responds to our Client’s needs and provide leadership and strategic guidance when and where it is needed the most.  

  • Serve as a technical resource that leverages your knowledge, skills, and experience to help deliver results to clients.
  • Lead and support a variety of global cyber operations and advisory engagements
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to a variety of clients and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and present comprehensive and accurate reports, trainings and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Work with clients security and IT operations teams to guide implementation and  strategic program maturity roadmaps 
  • Effectively communicate findings and strategies to technical staff, executive leadership, legal counsel, and to both internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with consulting and managed services partners to build and execute plans.
  • Understanding customer business drivers and strategies, architectures, cloud adoption roadmaps, operating models, KPI, to measure and monitor benefits realization.
  • Support the development of proposals and statements of work for Kroll clients
  • Contribute to the development and advancement of complex cybersecurity engagements
  • Build presentations for diverse audiences, ranging from private industry to law enforcement
  • Foster client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance
  • Escalate client issues appropriately that could threaten or enhance opportunity to the Kroll/client relationship

Essential traits:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4 years+ of relevant work experience in cybersecurity
  • Strong knowledge of cyber tools, information, frameworks, and environments 
  • Has a passion for security and enjoys solving problems
  • Prior consulting experience a plus
  • Prior experience working in enterprise environment a big plus 
  • In-depth knowledge of the security threat landscape, control frameworks and compliance strategies
  • Fluent in business process analysis
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience working with diverse teams
  • Strong team, project and client management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible team player, with strong interpersonal skills
  • A critical thinker and problem solver with attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a productive manner
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required to support response activities

The current salary range for this position is $60,000 - $150,000.
