Kroll is seeking a motivated career and client-oriented Operations Lead (SVP) to join our Cyber & Data Resilience (CDR) team. The Operations Lead oversees all operational aspects of strategy within one of the CDR service lines, helps set strategic goals, and is responsible for the flow of operations information to service line leadership. Areas of responsibility that fall under the Lead include: KPI tracking, process management, resourcing, financial management including budgets, invoicing, and accruals, risk management, continual improvement, and accountability for strategic projects. The individual must be comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels and managing with stability through periods of change.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop long-term operational strategies and align them with the broader business objectives.
- Take ownership and drive strategic projects from inception through conclusion. Examples of current & past projects include revenue and capacity forecasting, harmonizing global operations, risk management program, initiatives to scale operations and delivery execution.
- Manage and communicate service line risks effectively; implement measures to mitigate potential threats and maximize potential opportunities.
- Communicate policies, directives and areas for development/improvement; foster a team culture of continuous improvement.
- Work in collaboration with the wider Operations team to produce and monitor metrics which help drive Service Line performance towards goals and OKRs.
- Build and foster professional relationships with Kroll stakeholders including Finance and Sales Operations.
- Oversee the resource management function, ensuring optimal resource use to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
- Maximize revenue attributed to the service line through ensuring recognition upon project delivery and management of accounts receivable.
- Manage a team of 2 – 5 direct reports who handle the tactical day-to-day operational needs, overseeing their career development and growth.
- Initiate and implement enhancements that align with organizational goals.
Essential Traits:
- 12+ years progressive experience in solutions or business-oriented roles which focus on productivity and quality. A background in business administration or operations specialty is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and people skills.
- Experience developing, documenting, and implementing new processes and governance in a medium-sized organization.
- An analytical mindset and the experience to back it up, ability to derive business insights and tell a narrative, familiarity with general accounting principles.
- The ability to think strategically, critically, make “best practice” decisions, and clearly communicate them to stakeholders at all levels.
- A track record of taking initiative in the workplace and a desire for efficiency.
- Be detail and process oriented with a “get things done” attitude, having demonstrated excellence in time management, project management and prioritization.
- An understanding of IT and Project Management principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with a proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Power BI and Power Automate is an asset.
- An interest in Cybersecurity is encouraged.
