The Senior Manager of Data and Distribution Services at Kroll Settlement Administration is responsible for participating in the review and execution of complex, high-level distributions required in connection with the administration of our cases, ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met.

The Senior Manager of Data and Distribution Services is expected to serve as a final point of quality control review and signoff of distributions for all of the cases we administer. Accordingly, the Senior Manager of Data and Distribution Services must be able to successfully coordinate and manage tasks and responsibilities in multiple concurrent projects while being able to seamlessly pivot and adjust as client needs demand, as well as supervise and mentor the junior associates who are working to help support the projects we manage.

The successful candidate must have the necessary professional and team leadership background to prioritize, manage and execute a variety of complex tasks, utilizing junior associates when appropriate, to meet client deliverables in a fast-paced operations environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Distribution Planning & Execution

    • Review court documentation to determine allocation and benefit structure.

    • Ability to translate the benefit and allocation information into a working distribution model

    • High-level analysis and reconciliation of class member and/or claim records.

    • Reconciliation of client invoicing, including estimating fees and costs for a project.

    • Analysis and reconciliation of project settlement accounts.

    • Validation of eligible class members/claimants as determined by project teams.

    • Validation of class member’s/claimant’s eligibility for project benefit(s).

    • Validation of the allocation and calculation of benefit(s) to class members/claimants.

    • Participate in project planning and prioritization, including staffing discussions internally with senior staff as well as externally with clients, as necessary

    • Ensure client and project requirements are documented, monitored and met with the highest quality and accuracy by verifying and communicating routinely with internal and, on occasion, external partners

  • Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Analyze data from various sources (Excel, Access, SharePoint, SQL databases)

    • Develop queries to extract, transform, and update reports and other data sources

    • Help develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decisions as necessary

    • Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights from datasets

  • Team Collaboration & Oversight

    • Delegate to junior associates through continuous training of project-related tasks ensuring that the junior staff adequately understand protocol and logistics for all assigned tasks

    • Serve as an escalation point for project questions, problems and complex technical decisions

    • Perform quality control reviews of project work-product to ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency

  • Process Improvement

    • Communicate and escalate issues or concerns that may arise during a project

      • Proactively suggest solutions to those issues

    • Participate in process improvement initiatives with other team members to standardize and improve overall service delivery

    • Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures for departmental tasks

  • A role model for team building and creating an environment of continuous improvement.

Essential traits:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field

  • Class Action industry experience or in class action legal administration strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, operations, or project management, with exposure to large and small-scale initiatives; client-facing experience is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex issues and identify root causes

  • Strong reading comprehension and interpretation skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a background in customer or client service industries

  • Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure, with a willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with SQL and large dataset management

  • Data-oriented with experience in data review / data capture and the management and analysis of large data sets.

Salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 USD
