The M&A Associate plays a central role in the execution of buy‑side and sell‑side transactions for middle‑market clients, typically ranging from $25M–$500M in enterprise value. This position combines financial analysis, deal process management, and direct client interaction. The Associate works closely with senior bankers to drive transactions from initial pitch through closing.
On the sell-side, Kroll works with family and founder owned businesses, private equity backed companies and subsidiaries of larger corporations to advise them through the sale process. On the buy-side, we guide clients through acquisitions and investments by helping them to structure and negotiate transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Analyze and present financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide decision-makers in corporate finance transactions.
- Ensure quality of client deliverables by having a strong attention to detail
- Mentor and develop staff - analysts and junior associates.
- Individuals will be assigned a wide variety of projects and given as much responsibility as their experience and capabilities permit.
