Senior Associate, Global Communications

We are currently seeking an experienced and meticulous Copy Editor based in Mumbai. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy, clarity and consistency of our written content. You’ll sit in the Global Communication team, and collaborate closely with counterparts across public relations, social media, creative and business marketing to elevate the quality of our materials.

The day-to-day responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Proofread short and long-form content with a strong grasp of AP Style 
  • Offer guidance and feedback to enhance clarity and coherence, particularly in business and corporate content
  • Safeguard Kroll’s brand quality guidelines by ensuring consistency and excellence across articles, reports, blog posts, marketing materials and internal documents
  • Reinforce style guidelines to maintain consistency in all corporate content, aligning with our One Team vision
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure seamless alignment between text and visuals in major reports and campaigns supported by communications

Essential traits:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a copy editor, with a strong focus on proofreading and business writing
  • Familiarity with AP Style or similar style guides
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to learn and understand the firm’s business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a high standard for English grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Experience with productivity software, including Monday.com is a plus
  • Ability to excel with minimal day-to-day oversight and under strict deadlines
  • Experience in the professional services (risk management, financial services) sector is a plus
  • Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information.
