The Security Engineer II, InfoSec will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, technology engineering, and application engineering, with a focus on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities. The role will operate in Hybrid mode from Mumbai office in 4:30pm – 1:30am shift.

The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with information security engineering to ensure all security tools are deployed.
  • Engage with infrastructure and fellow security teams to ensure security best practices.
  • Educate and promote secure software development lifecycle.
  • Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and possible upgrades or improvements.
  • Assist security architects with their task on the backend
  • Complete scoping assignments.
  • Travel as needed in support of the Information Security program.
  • Manage and advise technical teams on the creation of supporting artifacts for penetration testing.
  • Conduct security vendor reviews of SaaS & Cloud platforms.
  • Distribute vulnerability ticket findings to stakeholders for remediation.
  • Identify discrepancies in asset inventory reports.
  • Research and stay up to date on emerging vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Review and track false positive requests.
  • Work with Infrastructure, Application, and Network teams to remediate findings.
  • Fundamental and working understanding of cloud concepts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Information Security related positions.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in technology engineering or application engineering roles.
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to plan and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks across a range of projects, adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Strong personal integrity.
  • Demonstrate commitment to obtaining outstanding results.
