Kroll’s Expert Services practice provides economic damages, shareholder disputes, forensic accounting, valuation, and other financial and investigative services to attorneys and companies involved in litigation, among other forms of disputes and investigations. We’re looking for a Director to support our Expert Services team. You will work on engagements related to financial securities matters, economic damages analyses, forensic accounting matters, investigative services, and other dispute consulting.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Managing staff members to ensure engagement execution that will support thorough and grounded expert opinions and/or provide quality consulting services to attorneys within established timeframes
- Providing guidance to attorneys and Managing Directors on key financial and business issues
- Obtaining a thorough understanding of the drivers that affect value and creditworthiness of the subject company
- Developing and/or evaluating damages claims and calculations
- Creating financial models, cash flow analysis, completing business related valuations, and other analyses as dictated by the needs of the client company or transaction
- Reviewing internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports
- Marketing services both to internal partners and external clients, developing client networks, and supporting efforts in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies
- Drive new opportunities for services offered by building relationships with new clients and differentiating our services in a compelling manner
- Providing expert reports for attorney clients
- Supervise and develop staff
Essential Traits:
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Statistics; or an MBA
- You have a minimum of 15 years experience in performing dispute related services including preparing expert reports, conducting lost profits calculations, preparing valuations related to diminution of value of businesses, and related litigation/dispute services
- You have time management, organization skills and ability to lead a team
- You have a demonstrated ability to identify and communicate areas in which additional or other services may be beneficial to clients
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

The current salary range for this position is $125,000 to $250,000
