Senior Manager Restructuring Insolvency

Kroll Restructuring professionals serve as a financial advisor to companies, financial sponsors, lenders, creditors and other interested parties in distressed situations across virtually every industry and every situation.

We are looking for a Senior Manager join our Insolvency Restructuring team.

As an Insolvency Senior Manager, you will take full responsibility for a portfolio of insolvency cases, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and profitability. You’ll provide strategic guidance on case progression, manage budgets, and mentor your team to deliver excellent outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage larger and more complex appointments and manage a sizable portfolio of insolvency cases
  • Management and direction of junior staff members
  • Be able to work on several different assignments effectively at one time;
  • Ensure deadlines met and case progression can be demonstrated across own portfolio;
  • Assume responsibility for, build and maintain key stakeholder relations and liaise with clients, clients’ employees, agents and solicitors as necessary, including site visits;
  • Assist the Managing Directors and Directors in ensuring that stakeholder needs are met
  • Provide supervision of/delegate work to junior staff and assist juniors with queries;
  • Provide guidance, motivation, mentoring and assistance to junior members of the team, assisting them with their training and progression in Kroll and undertake appraisals and other actions as required;
  • Conduct regular case reviews and support complex investigations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience of corporate (administration/liquidation) insolvencies is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure, deal with ambiguity and manage conflict / challenging situations;
  • Experience managing and delegating work
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and insolvency legislation
  • Strong team player;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple cases at once
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Strong academic track record.
  • JIEB qualified
