The Kroll Restructuring practice aims to provide effective solutions to its clients. Our clients include major banks, asset-based lenders, private equity houses, accountants, solicitors, financial sponsors, lenders, creditors, corporates and individuals. We are tasked with assuming direct responsibility for organizations in distressed situations across virtually every industry and every situation.

We are currently seeking an ambitious candidate with the following attributes to join our Gibraltar office as a Senior Associate. You will be involved in a wide range of interesting and challenging deals, often spanning multiple jurisdictions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in insolvency, restructuring and litigation support through exposure to working with lenders, investors, companies and their advisors in distressed and urgent situations.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate you will take risks and adopt change to solve problems. You will possess a drive for success and the ability to influence others within our Restructuring business.

  • Assisting Senior Management Team with implementation of strategic and operational matters.
  • Assisting in high-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations and complex cross-border matters involving common law jurisdictions
  • Day-to-day management of engagements including onboarding and take-on of financial and operational restructuring, official and voluntary liquidations, other formal and informal insolvency and restructuring cases, valuations, corporate advisory and investigation assignments
  • Familiarity with time recording and expense software and systems.
  • Managing and mentoring junior members of staff
  • Contributing to development of best practice; and
  • Establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients, including working on marketing materials and workstreams.

Requirements:

  • Great organisational skills and previous experience in marketing and arranging business development and staff events
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Possessing risk tolerance and stress tolerance
  • Good business sense and commercial acumen
  • Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems, and
  • Knowledge of Gibraltar AMLCFT requirements and regulatory framework;
