Operating on a truly global scale, we specialize in valuing illiquid and difficult to value investments where no “active quotes” are available. Our expertise covers a broad spectrum of alternative asset strategies, including private equity, hedge, credit, venture capital and infrastructure.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Develop financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analyses
- Conduct valuation analysis on a diverse range of illiquid investments distributed across industries and geographies, employing established and relevant approaches and theory
- Be proactive and self-motivated, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and delivering actionable results within tight deadlines
- Manage teams of senior associates and analysts
- Conduct client Interviews, including face-to-face meetings, to gather essential data and information for engagements
- Collaborate with internal and external management teams to cultivate and strengthen client relationships
- Identify and communicate potential engagements to management and leading the engagement proposal process
- Present analyses and conclusions verbally and in written reports
- Participate in relevant industry events to expand knowledge and gain experience within the alternative asset industry
Essential traits:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA
- Minimum 3 years of developing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, commodity contracts / forecasts, and contingent claims analysis
- Proficient in data analysis and business intelligence techniques
- Experience in managing diverse engagement teams and clients
- Working knowledge of authoritative guidance related to valuation (AICPA Guide, ASC 820 and IFRS 13), valuation industry best practices and emerging issues
- Familiarity with software packages like Alteryx, Tableau, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of market data sources such as Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on representing diverse communities

The current salary range for this position is $90,000 to $200,000
