Kroll leadership relies heavily on the knowledge and expertise of the Talent Acquisition Team, looking to those professionals to recruit and assist in selection of the firm's employees. As part of a global established team, you will be responsible for recruiting professionals in the United States. We are looking for a Manager I, Experienced Global Talent Acquisition, to join our team, in Chicago, who will focus primarily on recruiting in the United States, but will also have the opportunity to recruit in other countries, in support of the broader global recruitment function. The Manager I will focus the majority of their recruiting efforts on hiring experienced talent into the firm.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle and onboarding processes in the U.S. and abroad, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
- Work closely with hiring managers in developing and/or updating job descriptions for various roles across service lines.
- Conduct initial interviews to identify top talent for review by hiring managers and facilitate the progression of selected candidates through subsequent interview rounds and offer negotiations.
- Conduct passive candidate recruitment in order to identify top tier talent
- Oversee the interview scheduling process, collaborating closely with our recruitment coordination team.
- Develop competitive offer proposals for selected candidates in partnership with hiring managers.
- Collaborate with the preboarding team to ensure a smooth and seamless preboarding and experience locally.
- Maintain and nurture key client relationships to ensure satisfaction through the provision of strategic hiring advice.
- Represent Kroll at Employer Networking Events and manage campus relations in the U.S.
- Strive to meet all talent acquisition and staffing metrics, in addition to other team objectives.
- Actively participate in global and regional talent acquisition projects and initiatives as required.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Business Partner team to address staffing needs within the practice.
Essential Traits:
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in recruiting/talent acquisition, with a blend of in-house and agency experience preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a business-related discipline is desirable.
- Prior experience in the financial services or professional services sectors (management consulting or public accounting) specifically Corporate Finance and/or Valuation Advisory Services, is preferred
- Possesses significant experience and knowledge in recruitment within the U.S. market, demonstrating expertise in identifying and sourcing candidates through various channels.
- Skilled in engaging passive candidates effectively.
- Experienced in cultivating and maintaining robust relationships across various teams within matrix organizations, including but not limited to Human Resources, Operations, Rewards, and Immigration.
- Ability to think globally and demonstrate sensitivity to international recruiting practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to think creatively and execute strategic recruiting initiatives.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities under changing deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with experience in direct sourcing and candidate mapping.
- Familiarity with ATS software is essential, preferably Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
