We are seeking a high-performing Data Architect to help build and scale the data infrastructure that powers analytics, automation, and AI across the firm. This role is for candidates who want real engineering responsibility, not shadow work. You will design and implement production-grade data pipelines, work with cloud-native tooling, and partner with senior engineers and data scientists on systems that matter.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Design and build organizational data infrastructure/architecture

  • Partner with business leaders and domain owners to translate strategic priorities into data architecture capabilities

  • Provide insights into the changing database/datalake storage and utilization requirements for the company and offer suggestions for solutions

  • Establish standards for data platforms, integrations, analytics, and AI enablement

  • Analyze database/datalake implementation methods to make sure they are in line with company policies and any external regulations that may apply

  • Assist with organizational decisions on data infrastructure and architecture on an ongoing basis and make decisions on data strategy

  • Act as a trusted advisor on how data architecture enables revenue, efficiency and risk reduction, and advise leadership on data investment decisions

  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions

  • Apply architectural principles, product-specific guidelines, security standards, usability design standards, as appropriate

  • Influence decision-making across multiple stakeholders and guide engineering teams in resolving complex technical challenges

  • Drive expansion of analytics and AI services by embedding scalable design patterns into every engagement

  • Contribute thought leadership, reusable assets, and frameworks to scale across the Data & AI practice

  • 3+ years of experience in data platform architecture, analytics, or AI/ML
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical design documents

  • Experience architecting and securing big data solutions

  • Experience with Azure

  • Experience with Python and SQL

  • Understanding of data movement and ETL

  • Understanding of data governance and metadata tools

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work with an international team

  • Experience building data lakes preferred

  • Experience building data products preferred

  • Team leadership and stakeholder management

  • Understanding of Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Functions

  • Strategic thinker and strong execution orientation

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams

  • Attention to detail and data quality

Essential traits:
