Through a combination of expertise, global research capabilities and flexible technology tools, the Investigation, Diligence & Compliance practice of Kroll helps clients take a risk-based approach toward meeting obligations or remediating failures regarding anti-bribery, anti-corruption and related regulatory mandates. This position will be particularly focused on developing your open-source intelligence (OSINT) and social media investigations skills – the building blocks of modern investigations – as well as routine administrative tasks.

The right candidate will have outstanding English reading and writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, a sense of curiosity, the ability and enthusiasm to learn quickly, and a dedication to client satisfaction. Specific responsibilities include all of the following.
Conduct increasingly complex English-language research using public record databases, commercial and proprietary databases, media sources and the Internet.
Perform, using OSINT techniques, detailed reviews of subjects’ digital footprints, with a focus on social media content.
Conduct social media analysis within an agreed framework of reputational causes of concern.
Assist with analyzing and synthesizing relevant research findings.
Write well-structured, concise, logical, and objective reports to provide real Kroll clients with an accurate assessment of the findings.
Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities, timelines, and deliverables.
Maintain project documentation, including schedules, status reports, meeting notes, and action items.
Help prepare presentations, summaries, and project updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Handle routine communications with team members and client representatives.
Support compliance with internal processes, templates, and quality standards.
Perform initial quality checks on deliverables (formatting, completeness, consistency).
Monitor project risks and flag issues to the project management team.
Support the execution of additional tasks as assigned by the project management team.
REQUIREMENTS
The requirements to be considered for this role include:
Availability to work roughly 40 hours (or more) per week, during normal business hours (EST);
Undergraduate degree;
Major GPA of at least 3.5;
Native or equivalent English language proficiency in reading comprehension;
Extremely strong English-language writing skills;
Ability to prioritize several projects and assignments on multiple topics while meeting tight deadlines;
Ability to conduct online research using various primary and secondary sources;
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; and
Ability to understand, accept and apply constructive feedback.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
Interest and understanding of current events, international affairs, financial regulations, and economics and/or finance; with consideration for the social media commentary and movements that emerge in response;
Proficiency in additional languages; and
Hybrid work opportunity, with a preference for 1-3 days of in-person work in our Boston office (with other US Kroll offices available as a secondary preference).
