Kroll’s Portfolio Valuation practice is the leading provider of valuation advisory services to the alternative investment industry and we count many of the world’s leading alternative asset managers as our clients. We serve our clients through our global platform and specialize in valuing illiquid and difficult to value investments where no “active quotes” are available. We cover the full breadth of alternative asset strategies including private equity, hedge, credit, venture capital and infrastructure.

This position will be remote.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Assist in the defining, tracking and reporting of appropriate KPIs and other key financial metrics
  • Collaborate with Finance and other groups within the firm to identify and remedy variances in financial reporting
  • Reporting and presenting analyses and conclusions both verbally and in written reports and presentations
  • Lead a variety of other strategic initiatives focused around financial reporting, code management, tracking resource hours, revenue accrual, etc.
  • Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver action-oriented results under tight deadlines

Essential traits:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience of FP&A including budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
  • Experience of automation and use of appropriate tools
  • Big 4 or related industry background
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency of with MS Products – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
