Kroll’s Amsterdam Restructuring team, formerly ACE Advisory, advises companies, shareholders, lenders and investors in situations involving financial pressure, refinancing requirements or strategic change. We work with family-owned businesses, corporates and private equity-backed companies across different sectors, ranging from businesses with approximately €50 million in revenue to international companies with revenues of up to €2 billion.

Our assignments combine financial analysis with strategic and commercial considerations. They may involve assessing liquidity and financing requirements, reviewing capital structures or supporting refinancings.

Navigating Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will be a full member of the engagement team and contribute to live client assignments from initial analysis through to client delivery.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Developing financial models, liquidity forecasts and scenario analysis

  • Assessing business plans and financial projections from a financial and strategic perspective

  • Analyzing financing structures, debt capacity and refinancing options

  • Supporting independent business reviews, financial restructuring and debt advisory assignments

  • Conducting company, industry and market research

  • Reviewing financial, commercial and operational information

  • Supporting proposals and other business development activities

From day one, you will take responsibility for defined parts of our analyses and deliverables while working closely with experienced team members.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Current Degree Pursuit: Master’s degree in finance, financial economics, accounting, business administration, econometrics or a related field.

  • Comfortable working with financial statements and numerical information.

  • Analytical Thinker: Strong analytical skills and an interest in the financial and operational drivers of a business.

  • Task Prioritization: Performs effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and works accurately, takes ownership and contributes proactively

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.

  • Languages: Fluent in English with proficiency in Dutch preferred.
