Researching target industries, market and competitor information Interviewing clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement Working with management to build and maintain client relationships Identifying and communicating potential engagements to management Reporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including written reports Performing valuation of private equity and venture capital investments in a variety of industries. Reviewing transaction agreements and capital structures to understand rights of different share classes. Performing business and intangible assets valuation engagements for fair value measurements and transactions Developing financial models for transaction and valuation engagements
Bachelor's or Master's degree, with further experience and/or qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Economics, MBA from an accredited university, or additional professional accreditation such as CFA Up to 1 or 2 years of experience in constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial and statistical models including: DCF, comparable company and transaction, stock option, loss curves, and commodity contracts/forecasts Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Native Japanese language skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities Experience working with diverse teams
