Kroll is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Valuation Services team as Interns for the upcoming Winter 2025 cycle. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in valuation and work alongside industry professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
At Kroll, we're not just about transactions; we're about making an impact. As an Intern in our Valuation Services practice, you’ll work on a variety of assignments, including financial modeling performed for acquisitions using discounted cash flow, market approach and transaction approach analyses, reviewing equity and debt securities with hedge funds and private equity funds, purchase price allocations, intellectual property valuations, business unit and asset impairment valuations, intangible asset valuations and stock option valuations for multiple industries. During the internship, you may also work on various research initiatives including, amongst others, our M&A newsletter and also learn certain aspects of valuation as well as other related areas.
Navigating Responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate
- Current Degree Pursuit: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance), Management (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance) or MBA from an accredited college or university. On course to achieve a minimum of Second Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent
- Knowledge in Finance: Basic understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
- Tech-Savvy: Computer proficiency and ability to maximise applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to use databases, such as Bloomberg, Capital-IQ, and MergerMarket is an added advantage.
- Problem Solver with strong analytical skills: Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fast learner with good multitasking and prioritization skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment. Ability to master new tasks and industries quickly.
