As we embed the PCM (Private Capital Markets) platform across Kroll's Private Valuation (PV) business and client base, we are hiring a Product Manager to own development of our core loan valuation models and user workflows. This person will partner closely with engineering, implementation teams, and PV to define, build, and scale platform-native modeling and analyst features.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Valuation Model Development

  • Define platform features for valuation modeling of complex credit instruments
  • Manage feature specs, edge case definitions, and QA process for loan modeling logic
  • Collaborate with engineers and quants to continuously improve accuracy and auditability

Workflow Enablement

  • Design analyst workflows for portfolio valuation, internal review, approvals, and client publishing
  • Prioritize user-facing enhancements like assumption editing, documentation, and dashboard access
  • Build tooling to support PV’s migration off Excel and into platform-native processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Translate analyst/PV feedback into product specs
  • Partner with Implementation & Solutions Architect to capture real-world client needs
  • Maintain product backlog, roadmap, and user stories in coordination with engineering

Essential traits:

  • 4+ years in a product management role building financial or enterprise software
  • Familiarity with loan structures, DCF valuation, and private credit a strong plus
  • Experience designing user workflows in complex, data-rich environments
  • Strong communicator with attention to detail and iterative development practices

The current salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000
