Our Kroll Fixed Asset Advisory Services (FAAS) practice provides fixed asset insurance appraisals, fixed asset due diligence, and inventory and reconciliation services. The Mexico City-based team member will work closely with our US-based team to support domestic (US and Canadian) client engagements, primarily in a remote, centralized capacity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Project Managers with real and personal property valuations for insurance purposes through training and remote project execution.
- Assist in fixed asset inventories using remote data collection, image and document analysis, and reconciliation of client records.
- Learn and utilize proprietary software, asset management databases, and valuation tools under the guidance of US-based professionals.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and project records with precision, clarity, and audit-readiness.
- Assist with the reconciliation of fixed asset records, cost trending, categorization of assets, and report preparation.
- Collaborate virtually across time zones using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other Kroll systems.
- Proactively communicate status updates, questions, and challenges to the US team in English.
- Perform additional analytical or administrative tasks as needed to support project delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial or civil preferred), architecture, business administration, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of building construction, plants and machinery, or infrastructure assets is preferred.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with US-based team members.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; prior experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow instructions, and deliver quality work under deadlines.
- Strong cultural awareness and professionalism when working in a cross-border, virtual team environment.
- Must be based in the Mexico City area and available to work during core US business hours (Eastern and Central time zone overlap).
- Travel may be required for training or team building.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR OFFSHORE ROLE:
- Role will be integrated into a hybrid offshore team model; candidates must be comfortable with remote onboarding, virtual collaboration, and minimal in-person supervision.
- Strong self-motivation, initiative, and willingness to learn from a distance are critical to success.
- Prior experience working for a US or international company is preferred but not required.
