August
New positions are posted in August – on both your
university’s job posting system, as well as here on our career site. First step?
Search for the internship or full-time role that matches your
passion and be sure to apply on both sites. You can also
sign up for job
alerts and be the first to know when new opportunities become available.
September
Throughout the month, we host on-campus networking events and information sessions, and attend university career fairs. Check out our event calendar to see if we’ll be visiting your school. This is a great opportunity to chat with recruiters and client service professionals from a broad range of service lines. Like what you hear? Then search for a position and apply online.
During September, we’re also busy reviewing resumes. If we think there’s a match, we’ll reach out to schedule a first-round interview. These interviews begin in early October and might be via phone, video or in person on campus. These are typically conducted by a Senior Associate, Vice President, Director or Managing Director, and may include both technical and behavioral questions.
Mid to Late October
Second-round interviews usually occur 2–4 weeks after the first interview. If selected for a second-round interview, you’ll be invited to one of our offices — along with other promising talent – for what we call Super Day. It typically starts with a social event the night before, giving you the chance to talk with current employees in a relaxed setting. But the next day, we get down to business. You’ll meet with our management group and staff, spend time with analysts to get a feel for the work, and potentially work on a group case project. Not all groups include a case — be sure to ask your recruiter so you are prepared.
Offer letters are typically sent 2–3 weeks after the Super Day. Our salaries are very competitive, but please be aware they are predetermined and nonnegotiable. We also cover relocation costs for qualifying moves. You’ll have 2 weeks to accept the offer, and we hope you do!
Depending on the teams’ needs, we may have additional entry-level opportunities throughout the year, and their recruiting activities may not follow this exact process. We recommend signing up for job alerts so you’re always informed.

November through January
Once you have applied, there may be some pre-employment testing, which measures your math and logic skills. The next stage would be an Assessment Centre, where you’ll join other promising talent in a visit to one of our offices. We’ll start with some introductory presentations, giving you the chance to get comfortable with your fellow students and talk to current employees. We’ll ask some behavioural questions and test your quantitative skills and your ability to solve financial problems in teams, as you work on a group case project. You’ll also spend time with analysts to get a feel for the work and meet with our management group and staff.
We will usually make a decision a few weeks after the Assessment Centre. Some teams do hold an additional final round interview, and employment contracts are sent out shortly after. Our salaries are very competitive, but please be aware they are predetermined and nonnegotiable. You’ll have 2 weeks to accept the offer, and we hope you do!
Depending on the teams’ needs, we do have entry-level opportunities throughout the year, and the timing of our Assessment Centre may vary depending on location.
