The IAM Business Analyst plays a critical role in leading and supporting large‑scale IAM transformation programs, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, security leadership, and technical delivery teams. This role is responsible for driving requirements definition, design workshops, stakeholder communications, executive reporting, and change management across complex, multi‑year IAM initiatives. The ideal candidate has prior experience working on enterprise IAM transformations and is comfortable operating in highly visible, client‑facing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

IAM Transformation Leadership

  • Support and help drive large, enterprise‑wide IAM transformation initiatives, including access management, identity governance, and directory modernization programs

  • Work closely with client leadership, security teams, and architects to align business objectives with IAM strategy and roadmap

  • Maintain end‑to‑end traceability across requirements, design, delivery milestones, and adoption outcomes

Requirements & Analysis

  • Lead requirements gathering efforts with business, IT, security, and compliance stakeholders

  • Facilitate design and solution workshops as part of IAM transformation and modernization programs

  • Translate business and regulatory needs into high‑quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, and design artifacts

  • Capture and document key decisions, risks, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the program lifecycle

Stakeholder & Program Communications

  • Act as a primary coordination point across stakeholders involved in complex IAM initiatives

  • Develop and manage stakeholder communication plans, meeting summaries, and action tracking

  • Produce weekly status reports, RAID logs, and progress updates

  • Support executive‑level reporting and communications, including steering committee materials and leadership briefings

Change Management & Adoption

  • Drive change management activities for IAM transformations, including impact assessments, communications, and readiness planning

  • Support business and end‑user adoption of IAM changes in partnership with training and operations teams

Testing & Validation

  • Assist with planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for IAM solutions

  • Develop UAT scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria

  • Coordinate testing cycles, issue triage, and formal business sign‑off

Required Skills & Experience:

Core Experience

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated experience supporting or leading large‑scale IAM transformation programs

  • Proven experience working on complex, multi‑stakeholder IAM initiatives in enterprise environments

  • Strong experience facilitating requirements gathering and design workshops

  • Expertise in creating BRDs, functional requirements, and design documentation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level communications

Travel: Up to 50% travel to client sites (depending upon project requirements)

IAM Domain Familiarity (Working Knowledge)

Familiarity with common IAM platforms and technologies, such as:

  • SailPoint

  • Saviynt

  • Okta

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

  • Active Directory

Understanding of IAM concepts including identity lifecycle management, access governance, authentication, and authorization (deep expertise in all platforms not required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior consulting or client‑facing delivery experience

  • Experience supporting multi‑year IAM modernization or Zero Trust initiatives

  • Exposure to regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, life sciences, etc.)

  • Experience working in hybrid onshore/offshore delivery models

  • Experience supporting or leading large Active Directory migration or modernization programs (e.g., domain consolidations, legacy to greenfield transitions) is a strong plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience

The current salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000
