As a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Architect, you will be a key member of our internal Enterprise Systems team, responsible for shaping and executing the technical vision of our Dynamics 365 platform. This role is central to our long-term digital transformation strategy, ensuring that our ERP solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments, Microsoft, ISV’s, mentor development teams, and drive architectural excellence across multiple initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal architecture design sessions and technical workshops with business and IT stakeholders.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions that align with enterprise goals.

  • Provide hands-on leadership in system extensions, customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies.

  • Ensure technical solutions are aligned with our long-term IT roadmap and enterprise architecture standards.

  • Conduct design reviews and provide architectural governance across projects.

  • Champion code quality and development best practices through structured reviews and mentoring.

  • Collaborate with QA teams to implement robust testing strategies (unit, integration, automated, UAT).

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve cross-module and cross-release challenges.

  • Maintain and enforce internal security standards, including role-based access and data security (XDS).

  • Manage deployment processes using Azure DevOps (ADO) and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

  • Serve as a technical mentor to internal developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Essential Traits:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2009/2012) and Dynamics 365 F&O.

  • Proven track record in at least 2 full lifecycle ERP implementations in a technical leadership role.

  • Deep expertise in the Dynamics 365 F&O technical stack, including:

    • X++, C#, .NET Framework

    • Azure DevOps (ADO), Lifecycle Services (LCS)

    • Data Management Framework (DMF)

    • Dual-write, Dataverse, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)

  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and tools (REST, OData, Azure Logic Apps).

  • Experience with performance tuning, data migration, and environment management.

  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Power BI, and reporting tools.

  • Solid grasp of security architecture, including role-based security and XDS.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (or equivalent).

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Project Operations.

  • Exposure to Azure Machine Learning, AI Builder, or other advanced analytics tools.

  • Experience working in regulated industries or large-scale enterprise environments.

The current salary range for this position is $70,000 to $200,000
