We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as Team Lead for Travel and Expense Audit. The role will manage Corporate Services, T&E and Corporate Card and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration and continuous improvement of MS-D365 Finance & Operations within the Expense Module. The role ensures the platform supports policy compliance, accurate and timely expense processing, and a positive end-user experience across the business. Acting as the functional subject matter expert for D365, they will triage and resolve incidents and requests, manage system configuration, coordinate testing and releases, and work with Finance, HR, IT and third-party providers to maintain stable integrations and high-quality data.
You will ensure queries are handled within agreed SLAs, maintain clear user guidance, and proactively identify opportunities to simplify and positively impact the expense journey. Additionally, this role will have oversight of the Corporate Card Program. You will manage a small team of people who will help support both functions. The ideal candidate combines operational rigor, data-driven execution, and risk-based decision-making with strong situational judgment. Success in this role requires responsiveness, accountability, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional client service. Experience in financial, advisory, or technology environments is preferred.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Expense Management
Provide 1st line functional support for D365 Expense Module
Administer and configure D365 in line with business requirements and controls
Coordinate testing and release activities
Produce and maintain dashboards/reports to monitor compliance, adoption, trends and performance
Create, maintain and continuously improve training materials and end-user guidance
Identify, raise and deliver continuous improvement opportunities to reduce ticket volumes, streamline processes and improve user experience (including automation where appropriate).
Highlight major incidents and business-impacting risks to the Travel & Expenses Lead, supporting effective stakeholder communications and prioritization.
Develop, maintain and continuously improve global policies, procedures and guidance
Ensure card program is current and have clearly defined
Respond to employee related inquiries, document frequent issuers and drive improvements to optimize service levels
Monitor industry trends, find opportunities to improve admiration and customer service
Implement global card initiatives and provide customer service input into global initiatives
Corporate Card Management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 4 to 6 years of experience in expense and or card operations
Ability to work and collaborate during Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) hours to align with global stakeholders and business needs
Proven ability to drive process adoption and operational change
Some cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
