We are seeking a skilled and experienced operational and impactful leader to oversee its global contingent workforce solution. In this role, you’ll drive how we engage, manage, and support contractors and contingent talent across regions—ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with our business needs.

The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operational Workforce Planning: Based on past volumes and internal client relations, establish a baseline for volumes of activity to develop and execute a global strategy for contingent talent engagement, onboarding, utilization, and offboarding. This headcount forecast plan will be developed by Business Unit, region and country.

  • Vendor Management: Lead relationships with staffing vendors. Where and when applicable lead RFPs to ensure Kroll is receiving commercially priced work. Oversee supplier SLAs, contractual compliance, and regional service delivery.

  • Process Optimization: Streamline contingent workforce lifecycle operations—including onboarding, worker classification, technology requests as needed, tenure tracking, engagement and hiring manager query resolution and offboarding. Develop SLAs to support the service and reassure internal clients. Ensure processes can serve the varying types of workers – including bulk hiring of temps in some teams.

  • Governance & Compliance: Collaborate with Legal and HR teams to ensure contractor processes and global classification for both Service Providers and Independent Contractors meet local labor regulations, compliance laws and internal policy standards.

  • Cross-Functional and Team Leadership: Act as the primary liaison on contingent workforce matters across HR, Legal, Finance, and Business Units. Build strong stakeholder management relationships with core business users (Managing Directors, Engagement Leads and Hiring Managers). Support, coach and drive performance of the administration team, ensuring a high quality client relationship mindset is established with a ‘Can-Do’ spirit to tackle issues in a timely manner

  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide visibility into contractor metrics—headcount, costs, tenure, and geographic distribution—while offering insights for strategic decisions.

  • Technology & Systems: Working with platform owners, identify opportunities to innovate, automate and integrate systems to improve the management of all contingent worker types.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience managing global contingent workforce programs or contractor strategy
  • Expertise in designing and maintaining systems that support contractor management, including integration with payroll, finance, suppliers (Employers of record and Recruitment Agencies) and on-boarding platforms
  • Deep knowledge of labor laws and compliance frameworks across jurisdictions
  • Strong background in vendor management, including RFP and global provider consolidation
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a global corporate environment
  • The successful candidate must be fluent in understanding the importance of local labor laws
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
