Originate, develop and execute creative, strategic marketing programs and plans that smartly employ a full range of activities, including events, direct and digital communications, thought leadership, public relations and advertising. Maximize the use of both internal marketing resources and external vendors to successfully execute marketing programs. Manage marketing content (limited research, proofing, editing, etc.) and collateral across the India practice including knowledge and research reports, firm profiles, flyers and other marketing dossiers. Aid in the development of thought leadership materials that support business goals; including newsletters, white papers and surveys. Lead digital marketing efforts for the region; including maintaining and publishing content on the India website, maximizing the use of social media for marketing promotion, and efforts to continuously improve search engine optimization Manage, organize and promote all types of events and conferences in the region, including sponsorships, hosted events and webinars as well as assist in building relationships with corporate bodies such as CII, FICCI, IVCA, etc. Maximize exposure of the Duff & Phelps brand and thought leadership through public relations activities, manage relationships with PR agencies and act as a corporate relations liaison for media engagement Leverage marketing campaigns and thought leadership generated across the firm and adapt to local market as appropriate, ensuring unified execution, consistency and effectiveness. Support sales enablement through development of sales templates, marketing brochures and other needed tools. Promote best practices in using the firm’s Client Relationship Management system, build and maintain targeted contact lists and support the business teams in managing and maintaining data quality. Understand the competitive environment and tailor our marketing to current trends, opportunities and competitive pressures. Deliver marketing results against a tightly managed budget and track marketing spending to report on return on investment for marketing activities. Ensure local marketing activities are linked to Duff & Phelps global marketing strategy and support efforts to raise brand profile in the region. Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Marketing or Communications with concentration in business or finance from an accredited college or university Experience in marketing professional or financial advisory services Experience in public relations is desirable Minimum 15 years of experience in a marketing / communications role at a professional service or B2B organization Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Polished individual with excellent command over the English language is a must. Proactive individual with a history of out-of-the-box thinking and high creative quotient Experience in working with business associations, such as CII, FICCI, IVCA, etc, is a plus Experience in developing thought leadership is a must Approximately 10 – 20% travel required
