Role Summary

As a Senior Manager, Employee Benefits you’ll shape the employee experience across the EMEA region through high impact work spanning design, employee engagement, vendor management and operational excellence. Partnering with the Global Head of Benefits to implement strategy and provide regional insight.

This role requires strong problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and a focus on delivering results at scale. With exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners, you’ll influence key decisions and execute initiatives that directly impact business performance—making it an ideal opportunity for an analytically minded professional seeking accelerated growth.

The Team

The Benefits team designs and optimizes programs that directly impact workforce performance and engagement globally. We own the full lifecycle of health, financial wellbeing, leave, and income protection offerings, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making, cost efficiency, and adoption.

We are a highly visible, execution-focused team partnering across Compensation, People Systems, Payroll, Legal, and Finance to solve complex problems and continuously improve outcomes. You’ll work closely with the Director of Americas Benefits and Head of Global Benefits and Policy to take ownership of meaningful, high-impact work from day one in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Execution & Regional Leadership

  • Execute the global benefits strategy across EMEA, translating regional insights into impactful global input.

  • Adapt and implement frameworks across diverse markets, ensuring consistency, scalability, and local relevance.

  • Lead delivery of new programs, harmonisation efforts, and continuous enhancements.

Governance, Risk & Vendor Performance

  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and data privacy requirements across all countries.

  • Lead broker and vendor strategy, driving performance, accountability, and commercial outcomes.

  • Oversee audits, controls, and documentation with a disciplined, risk-aware approach.

Financial & Analytical Leadership

  • Own budgeting, cost tracking, and financial controls for benefits across EMEA.

  • Analyse claims, utilisation, and cost drivers to inform renewals and optimise spend.

  • Deliver clear, data-driven insights that shape decision-making and strategy.

  • Operational Excellence & Employee Experience

  • Ensure seamless delivery of day-to-day benefits administration and payroll coordination.

  • Oversee core processes and resolve complex issues with speed and precision.

  • Enhance employee experience through continuous process improvement and service excellence.

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Develop clear, compelling benefit communications that enable employees to understand and fully value their offerings.

  • Drive engagement through targeted education, digital content, and vendor-led initiatives.

  • Use data and feedback to continuously refine communication strategies and improve participation and satisfaction.

Stakeholder Influence & Transformation

  • Act as the EMEA subject matter expert, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders.

  • Lead projects, change initiatives, and M&A integration with strong execution discipline.

  • Drive standardisation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the region.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5 to 7 years of benefits experience, preferably at a fast paced company,

  • Elite Analytical Rigor – Exceptional ability to break down complex problems, synthesize data and translate insights into clear, actionable decisions.

  • High Learning Velocity – Demonstrates rapid skill acquisition, intellectual curiosity, and a track record of quickly mastering new concepts or domains.

  • Ownership Mindset – Operates with accountability and urgency; proactively identifies opportunities, drives outcomes, and follows through without close oversight.

  • Structured Problem Solver – Brings a hypothesis-driven approach, strong quantitative reasoning, and comfort working with ambiguity.

  • Data-First Decision Maker – Relentlessly uses data to inform thinking; challenges assumptions and validates through evidence.

  • Strong experience managing benefits across multiple EMEA countries including vendor management and renewals.

  • Exposure to M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration preferred.

  • Good understanding of HR Operations and Payroll processes.
