Source information from primary & secondary sources including databases, internet and public domain Be creative in developing traditional and non-traditional sources of information, especially in areas where public information is limited Verify the credibility of the information and sources Field investigation Analyse the information, draw implications for clients Prepare high quality written and oral reports in English
Strong academic background, preferably a degree in one of these fields from a top university – Business Studies, Economics, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, or Security Studies Commercial experience, preferably gained in a research-intensive environment Experienced in writing effective reports and/or articles for clients Native Or Near-Native fluency in written and spoken english Resourceful and analytical with good common sense and sound business acumen Experience in both qualitative and quantitative financial data to general insights would be preferred but not a pre-requisite Bilingual in English and either one of the languages listed - Bahasa Indonesia to read and generate reports in those languages would be a prerequisite, Additional languages such as Malay, Thai and Chinese would be an added advantage Experience working with diverse teams
