The Senior Analyst, PMO will ensure that all change initiatives across the organization are well structured and in compliance with defined governance standards to facilitate transparency in achieving strategic goals. Responsible for reporting accurate and insightful management information to senior management to support fast decision making.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Change Portfolio Governance and Control:

    • Operate and maintain portfolio governance processes

    • Ensure adherence to project management standards and methodologies

    • Monitor change portfolio progress, risks, and issues

  • Financial Management:

    • Track project budgets and expenditures

    • Assist in the implementation of improved financial forecasting and reporting processes

    • Work with finance to ensure cost control measures are in place

    • Support Project Managers in tracking and reporting project finances

  • Reporting and Metrics:

    • Generate regular status reports

    • Collect and analyze required data for performance metrics

    • Present insights to senior management

  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders

    • Manage stakeholder expectations within PMO community and senior management

    • Address inquiries and concerns

  • Process Improvement:

    • Continuously improve project management processes

    • Identify areas for efficiency gains

    • Implement best practices

  • PMO Continuous Improvement:

    • Ensure key deliverables are being met in line with the Global PMO Roadmap

    • Provide support, knowledge transfer and guidance on PMO best practice and ensure all work produced is consistently at a high standard

  • Tooling:

    • Support defining and building requirements for enhancements to Smartsheet (core PPM tool)

    • Create workflows and necessary documentation to ensure alignment across both the PMO team and the wider organization

    • Ensure requirements are fit for purpose through regular testing and highlighting risks and issues

    • Supportwith the creation of training material and training workshops to ensure the organization is equipped with the correct knowledge in how to use the PMO tool for their individual needs

Essential traits:

  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices

  • Project budget, forecasting and tracking experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels

  • Excellent at managing and influencing, with a strong collaborative approach

  • Adaptable, with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail

  • Experience with Smartsheet

  • Relevant experience of 5+ years
