Our Expert Services team are market leaders in litigation and arbitration support, assisting clients with expert appointments in the assessment of economic loss in commercial damages cases, competition, regulatory and other matters, and are looking for a Manager/Senior Manager with the drive and ambition to take the next step in their careers. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest cases currently in litigation or arbitration and be part of an expanding and highly regarded team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Economic modelling assignments
  • Assist the project lead on litigation support assignments
  • Lead on project workstreams
  • Provide technical economic and quantitative analysis to lawyers in order to help progress cases
  • Assist clients with disputes in the anti-trust/competition, economic regulatory, shareholder and commercial disputes 
  • Depending on seniority and size of case, project manage cases

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least a Masters degree (MSc) in Economics and/or Econometrics.
  • Over 4 years’ experience working as an economist within a consultancy, government or corporate. 
  • Economic modelling skills are essential.  Should be confident working with very large datasets and preferably have a strong understanding of statistical analyses, regression techniques, market modelling and the application of other economic techniques. Knowledge of statistical packages desirable.
  • Comfortable researching economic, market and regulatory events.
  • Excellent drafting and/or report writing skills. Expert report experience desirable but not essential. The ability to establish effective working relationships - with a strong client focus.
